Kashimi means “story” in Nyanja. We believe in the power of a story to inspire and change lives. Write down your story & change the stories of vulnerable women in Zambia with the Kashimi Journal.

All Chikondi (meaning “love” in Nyanja) products are designed and handmade by Zambian women through the Clothed in Hope sewing training program (clothedinhope.org). Each product is uniquely made and no two products are exactly the same in measurements or appearance.

The Kashimi Journal is a hardback notebook from Zambia with a traditional African fabric cover. All sourcing supports local businesses to further prove our commitment to development in Zambia.

The sale of this journal provides a valuable income for vulnerable women in Zambia. Proceeds also help fund our sewing & business training program for increased impact in Zambia through empowerment and education.
